Oser Trivia & Game Co., Jacki's Bar, Morgan's Old Roadhouse, and 1860 Taproom & Bottleshop are proud to announce our 1st Sports Trivia Challenge.  The challenge will take place between January 11, 2024, and March 7, 2024.  All dates in this challenge will start at 7pm.  The announced Team Grand Prize is $400.  This challenge is free to all teams.

The challenge will rotate weekly between Jacki’s Bar, Morgan’s Old Roadhouse, and 1860 Taproom & Bottleshop.  The challenge will last 8 weeks with the championship open to all weekly winners on March 7, 2024.  Weekly attendance by teams is not required, but welcome.

• • • There will be 5 rounds.

      • •  Each round will be 10 questions.

    • Correct answers in rounds 1 through 4 are worth 5 points each.

      • • Each round is worth up to 50 points for a total of 200 points.

    • Correct answers in Round 5 are worth 10 points each.

      • •  Round 5 is worth 100 points.

    • You will have up to 1 minute to answer the question.  Once 1 minute is up, the host will move on to the next question.

    • You will record your answers on the worksheet provided.

    •  After a round is completed, you will trade your worksheet to another team to be graded.

    •  After grading is completed, please return the sheet back to the original team for review.

      • • Make sure you receive credit for all correct answers.

        • Make sure the math on the score is correct.

        • Turn in your sheet to the host so that they can record the score.

    • Ties will be broken by the number of points earned through round 5.  If a tie still exists, we will move back to points earned through round 4 and so on.  If necessary, a random question(s) may be asked to break ties.

    • There will be prizes awarded to the 1st and 2nd place teams.

    • The 1st place winner of a weekly game will be eligible to compete in the championship on March 7, 2024.

  • Team size is limited to six players.

  • NO TECHNOLOGY (cell phones, tablets, internet, or other tech) may be used to answer questions. 

  • The Quizmaster is right!   There will be no arguing over answers.

    • Spelling, punctuation, or other grammar rules do not apply.   If the host can understand what you mean, it will count.

    • Questions will require you to answer first and last name, or complete names unless you are told differently.

      • • Example: Who is the hit leader in major league baseball? Answer: Pete Rose NOT Rose, or Pete.

        • Example: What MLB team plays in Great American Ball Park? Answer: Cincinnati Reds, and NOT The Reds.
